INTRODUCTION
Hook: "Make and be confident in your own decisions... stop looking for people´s aproval for everything. Live your life and do what you want"
Background information: Many people have to make decisions in their life, be they good or bad, some of them seek approval from others which is not right because it is your life not theirs.
Thesis Statement: In this blog I will use two characters: one is called Jonas and the other is called "The Giver".
Jonas, is a boy who has just turned 12, in the ceremony they assign him the work of "The Receiver of memory", he would now receive all the memories of all the inhabitants, he was a curious and strong child to resist the memories of sadness or wars, a new feeling that he would feel, had certain rules and for a year he was disobeying them and in the end he decided to make a prank that might cost him his life. In the other hand "The Giver" was his teacher, he transmitted all the memories, I teach him new words, as well as to know the meaning of that work, for how long it is and the rules after he has received all the memories, he had a place of entrenameinto, it was a room far from the city.
DECISIONS:
After a year Jonas got tired, said he was not good and everyone should have his memories, he created an escape plan together with his teacher / guide, he would escape from the city because he remembered that his teacher one day told him that if he left the city these memories would return his owner. Jonas started his escape plan but not only was he to return the memories but he would stay in another city and start a new life there. This decision does not seem good to me because he is moving away from his family for something that can simply return memories and be with his family, apart from being only 12 years old and that was his job, he did not have money and he would not know how to keep himself save.
"The Giver" already had its plan of how to help and make the community believe it, everything was ready that same night. Jonas would escape, "The Giver" would not run away with him because he had to see his daughter, but previously the he had said that her daughter had been murdered, which means that he wanted to die to meet her daughter. It does not seem good or bad, good because he could finally see his daughter or that is what he believes and would leave the memories after so many years and torture and wrong because one would commit suicide, two are not sure if he would really see his daughter.
